With VAS, the visor mounting position is lowered by 24mm to achieve the ideal smoother shape that maximizes energy-reflecting ability. As a result, this allowed the shell to be perfectly smooth above the test line of the world's most demanding helmet testing standard, Snell. It is also one of the first models with the new European homologation ECE 22-06.
