RX-7V EVO IoM TT 2026 Limited Edition ready for “The Mountain”

Arai Helmet Europe has unveiled its special edition helmet for the Isle of Man TT 2026 at the Motorcycle Live event at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.
The RX-7V EVO IoM TT 2026 Limited Edition is the 17th special edition Arai has designed around the legendary road race, of which it is the official helmet partner and which will host its 106th edition in 2026. Arai’s annual TT special helmet is the cornerstone of a forty-year partnership with the Isle of Man TT, and their launches have become an event eagerly awaited by racing fans around the world.
The iconic Arai shell shape is inspired by the egg, one of nature's most powerful shapes, and its enduring protective capabilities have led Arai to create rounder, stronger and smoother shells that provide excellent rebound performance. Arai is constantly striving to reduce the impact energy entering the helmet, and in their constant quest for greater protection, they came up with the R75 shell, which has protected so many riders and racers around the world.
Designed by long-time Arai collaborator Drudi Performance, the IoM TT 2026 helmet offers another stunning design inspired by the legendary race, and a third version that draws from the 2024 TT redesign.
The colorway featured on the iconic RX-7V EVO features a retro black, white and gold base design with striking 'swoosh' lines that capture the adrenaline of racing. The colours combine vibrant accents of red, orange and blue, while the sides of the helmet are dominated by the TT logo, which wraps around the helmet. Brilliant white triskelions are featured on the chin and crown, while the logo and stripes are connected by a gold ‘Tourist Trophy’ inscription. The back of the helmet features the Druid’s Thumb icon with a bright red outline of the 39.36km mountain course.

The RX-7V EVO IoM TT 2026 Limited Edition will be available from May 2026 and in limited quantities.

ARAI RX-7
Arai's RX-7 has always been a benchmark in the research and development of motorcycle racing at the highest level. Handcrafted in Japan by a family business of three generations of motorcyclists, it is Arai's most advanced helmet in terms of protection, ventilation, comfort and fit. The new RX-7V EVO, apart from the accumulated improvements under the shell, looks identical.

Internal Arai benchmarks
The difference? Everything. And finally, ECE R22-06 approval. Arai is always trying to accumulate small improvements decade after decade and meet the standards. In addition to ECE R22-06, each Arai must meet the company's own criteria. This is a very important point to note for any rider or racer interested in the ultimate protection that comes from Arai's commitment to protection.

Look away
Head protection means impact energy management. Many understand it to be energy absorption, but we believe it is only part of impact energy management. The lower the impact energy, the less must be absorbed. Arai does this by making rounder, smoother and stronger outer shells to improve Glance Off performance and reduce impact energy transfer to the helmet. This is unique to Arai and our core philosophy.

ECE R22-06
ECE R22-06 requires a much more stringent testing procedure than the previous ECE R22-05 and includes a tilt test to measure rotation. Arai introduced the RX-7V and gained homologation while maintaining the characteristic round, smooth and strong shell shape.

Searching for protection add-ons
Change for change's sake was never part of the Arai process. Careful evolutionary progress is important. While fashions come and go, Arai's focus has always remained the same: the pursuit of protection. Trendy looks and features may be tempting, and decades of technological innovation in the invisible parts of the helmet for improved head protection may not help them sell, but Arai is committed to protecting what is priceless: our customers. And fittingly, the RX-7V EVO maintains its position as a true benchmark of protection and the best motorcycle helmet Arai has made to date.
